<p><strong>Step1: Register your blog with Twitter</strong></p>
<p><strong></strong>For security reasons, tweetable uses Twitter&#8217;s OAuth protocol to authenticate and access your Twitter account. For it to work, you must register your blog as an application with Twitter. Click the button below to go to Twitter.com and register it.</p>
<p><strong>To Register Application at twitter follow this instructions<br />

4. Leave the <strong>Application Type</strong> as <strong>Browser</strong>.<br />
5. In the <strong>Callback URL</strong> field, paste the link you will get in installation<br />
6. Set <strong>Default Access type </strong>as <strong>Read &amp; Write</strong>.<br />
7. Press the <strong>Save </strong>button, then come back to wordpress installation page and continue the setup wizard.<img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-704 dtse-img dtse-post-644" title="configuration-settings1" src="http://lazytechie.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/configuration-settings1.png" alt="configuration-settings1" width="505" height="616" /></p>
<p><strong>Step 2: Enter the Application Keys</strong></p>
<p>To enable WordPress to interface with the Twitter API, you must enter the application consumer keys. You can find them after completing the registration of an application at Twitter and selecting the application you registered in the previous step.<img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-647 dtse-img dtse-post-644" title="tweetable-application" src="http://lazytechie.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/tweetable-application.png" alt="tweetable-application" width="536" height="419" /></p>
<p>Enter the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret keys in the tweetable settings page at wordpress and then save and continue for further step<img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-648 dtse-img dtse-post-644" title="enter-application-settings" src="http://lazytechie.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/enter-application-settings.png" alt="enter-application-settings" width="563" height="81" /></p>
<p><strong>Step 3: Enter your twitter username and then continue</strong></p>
<p><strong>Step 4: Authorize Your Twitter Account</strong></p>
<p>You are Almost done! Now you need to authorize your blog to have access to your Twitter account.</p>
<p>Just Click on sign in to twitter, and you will be taken to Twitter.com. If you&#8217;re already logged in, you will be presented with the option to authorize your blog. Press the button to do so, and you will come right back here.</p>
<p>And that is it you are done with tweetable installation and now you can enjoy updates to twitter automatically.  <img src='http://lazytechie.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
