Unlock iPhone 3G OS 3.0 Baseband 04.26.08 with UltraSn0w

As promised Musclenerd showcased the next version of QuickPwn and UltraSn0w. Yes UltraSn0w replaced the YellowSn0w for iPhone 2G, 3G with OS 3.0 DevTeam will release UltraSn0w for iPhone 3G on iPhone OS 3.0 firmware with baseband 04.26.08 on Friday. For unlocking your iPhone 3G with UltraSn0w it doesn’t matter which baseband or bootloader your firmware is running on. Now iPhone 3G is unlocked up to the latest Baseband. Now you needn’t to follow those lengthy procedures to downgrade baseband but limited to Bootloader 5.08

UltraSn0w works same as YellowSn0w. About UltraSn0w application is a small daemon that is launched on boot. It injects the payload at boot and also whenever there is a baseband reset. You won’t notice anything about it other than that your third-party sim now works. It’s a small program and unobtrusive. The UltraSn0w unlock will be released on Friday 19th along with iPhone 3G S and will be applied in the same manner as the previous yellowsn0w unlock. The procedure will work on the 4.26.08 baseband version so all those who accidentally updated to the latest baseband will be able to regain their unlock. And anyone at 3.0 FW or below will be able to use it.

iPhone 3GS Jailbreak First Success by GeoHot

Good news for the peoples who just upgraded from iPhone 3G to iPhone 3G S and missing the full functionality of their iPhone without Cydia. Jailbreak development for 3G S was started from the last week since apple released the iPhone 3G S. Georze Hotz A.K.A GeoHot ( first person who unlocked the iPhone 2G 1.0.2) claims his position again and it looks like he has already found a method to jailbreak the iPhone 3GS! The good news is if GeoHot discovers the full jailbreak then the unlock scene is not so far becaugeohot-113-iphone-unlockse The iPhone 3G S uses the X-Gold 608 baseband chip, same as in the iPhone 3G. So UltraSn0w will be compatible with 3G S.

Things are completely changed and Apple is going strict and strict, trying best possible methods to keep Devs . According to GeoHot Apple added a new tag to the img3 format called ECID. The ECID is unique to each phone, and is being sigchecked. So no downgrades unless you have a dump of your unique old firmware’s img3. Therefore, iBoot exploits won’t be so useful for tethered JBs, because such exploits will be closed in new FWs. This is bad news… They almost surely won’t authorize downgrades on new phones. They might not even authorize downgrades on older phones. Get a usb dump of a restore to 7A341 if you ever want to go back(which you may need to use exploits). Unless of course it’s broken deeply at the hardware level. Then lol @ Apple.

Geohot has already launched purplera1n.com (Purple Rain) but is hosting nothing but an image as of now. So we can guess at the moment that Purple Rain is the code name of 3G S jailbreaking tool. After Zibree (ZiPhone) Dev Team gets a new competitor. BTW GeoHot is not new but he was less active, now it seems GeoHot is on the way back as he appears. Lets wait n watch this healthy competition between GeoHot and Dev team. GeoHot discovered Ramdisk keys and Musclenerd discovers Vfdecrypt keys and they provided these keys publically available. So finally we can say that after Sn0w get ready for the rain, purple rain.

Iphone 3G OS 3.0

Now it’s here, just on the palm of your hands. The NEWEST OS for Apple Iphone 3G! It’s called OS 3.o, and now I’ll let you know the details of this newest-trendiest for some- from Apple. It’s got features and apps that would make you ga-ga.

The new iPhone OS 3.0 adds over a hundred new features including-at friggin’-cut and paste. Here’s how it works: When you double-tap over text, you will get a “cut, copy, and paste” bubble dialog. Double-tap again and a “paste” bubble will appear if there’s anything stored in your cliphone-3gs-500x304ipboard. That’s not all, you can also copy and paste photos. Now you will be able to select photos by tapping the action button, copy them, and paste them in an email, voila, ready to send.

Apple’s newest product let’s you search in mail, ipod and in calendar. These Apple applications have specific search interfaces. The search in Mail doesn’t support the message content yet, but it supports searching in IMAP servers-that gives you an ample time than logging into Gmail.

Thetering. If you are familiar to a camera connected to a laptop, then that’s thetering. But in other way, your iphone connected to your laptop instead, it serves as the modem to access you to the internet.

Now, a much better keyboard. Apple has added the landscape keyboard mode to other applications, like Mail, SMS, and Notes.

Yes, it is also in here, MMS! A big one to send rich content to people without mail-enabled telephones. The MMS function will allow you to include everything, from images to sound to vcards (no word on video, however.)

So, there you go. Apple iphone at it’s best!

Jailbreak iPhone 3.0 firmware with Pwnagetool 3.0

Apple released the iPhone 3.0 firmware and also the iPhone 3G S which comes with the latest firmpwnagetool-pwnedware, but the old iPhone 3G phones once upgraded with the new firmware would lose the network if it was an unlocked phone earlier. iPhone 3GS Announced By Apple

After months of rumors and bits of leaked details of the upcoming iPhone, Apple finally announced the next iPhone and iPhone OS 3.0 today at WWDC 2009. In this two-hour long event, Apple unveiled the new 13 and 15 inch MacBook Pro, Snow Leopard, Saiphone-3gs-500x304fari 4, iPhone OS 3.0 and the all new iPhone 3G[S].

In the last 15 minutes of today’s session of WWDC, Phil Schiller, Apple’s Vice President of Marketing, announced the new iPhone 3GS. The [S] in 3GS stands for Speed, which means the new iPhone is just as similar as the iPhone 3G, but now it’s much more faster and powerful than before!
Like we heard in the rumours, iPhone 3GS comes in two flavours of sizes – 16GB and 32GB and will already be pre-loaded with iPhone OS 3.0. Several features were announced for iPhone 3GS, which include:

Better Camera: It has been upgraded to 3 megapixels with auto-focus and video recording and editing capabilities.
Improved Performance: With an imporved RAM, processor speed and battery life, what more would one want from Apple.

Graphics: iPhone 3GS includes graphics hardware to support the OpenGL|ES standard and faster 3D games.
Voice Control: You can now talk to your iPhone telling it whome to call or what song to play by which ever artist.

Battery Life: Like always, Apple has improved the battery life of the new iPhone which now supports up to 30 hours of music.

Of course, there were a lot more features announced like the all new Accessibility features, digital compass and Nike+ support.

The new iPhone 3GS will be available in the usual black and white colours and is priced at $199 for 16GB and $299 for the 32GB version. And the good, old iPhone 3G is now reduced to  $99 right from today!
The release date for iPhone 3GS in the US market is June 19th, though iPhone OS 3.0 will hit the App Store on June 17th.
